NCSOFT posted this on Early Access launch day, when several servers had long queues. The main ask: if you're stuck in a queue or just starting, create your character on a server the game recommends instead of a full one.
To make that easier to accept, NCSOFT announced character transfers starting October 14. You'll be able to move to another server within the same faction (Elyos or Asmodian). The notice also reminds players that all instanced content, dungeons included, is cross-server — you don't need to share a server with a friend to run dungeons together.
Two caveats in the notice:
- characters on Early Access servers (opened September 30 for Founder's Pack buyers) can only move to another Early Access server — not to the servers that opened at launch on October 5;
- transfers will be free at first — "initially free during this period", so they may cost something later.
