2. October 5, 2026Patch

   Ludra raid temporarily removed — returning reworked, date by October 16

   • Sanctuary Raid: Ludra was pulled from the game with the full launch build on October 5.
   • It returns with new and adjusted mechanics and attack patterns made for the global version.
   • NCSOFT will announce the return date by October 16, along with a First Clear event and a reset Hall of Fame.
   • Ludra gear earned in Early Access is temporarily removed — it comes back with the raid, plus any upgrade materials spent on it.
   • Players who cleared Ludra in the Europe region during Early Access get a unique title.

   Aion 2 is live globally — launched October 5 at 15:00 CEST

   • The full global version went live on October 5, 2026 at 6:00 AM PDT / 15:00 CEST, on time.
   • It's free-to-play on Steam and PURPLE; the monthly membership is optional.
   • Progress from the Korean and Taiwanese versions does not carry over.
   • On day one NCSOFT announced 300,000 and then 400,000 active players.

   • On October 5 every player got a Customization Voucher for changing a skin in the Closet (Esc → Closet).
   • For 400,000 active players: Resurrection Spiritstone ×15.

   • Earlier, during Early Access: Battle Enhancement Scroll ×5 and an Appearance Change Voucher for the queues.

   Launch servers and server pairings — how Elyos–Asmodian matchmaking works

   • Every server holds one faction: Elyos or Asmodian.
   • Each Elyos server is paired with an Asmodian server — that's who you fight in the Abyss and Rifts.
   • Pairings will change periodically to keep the factions balanced.
   • Europe: 9 Early Access pairs and 13 launch pairs (as of the evening of Oct 5).

   • Maintenance from Oct 4, 22:00 PDT / Oct 5, 07:00 CEST, 8 hours — Advanced Access ended, full launch began.
   • Character deletion: 24 h wait instead of 168 h, allowed from level 1 (was 10).
   • Idle kick to server select after 3 hours instead of 30 minutes.
   • Some bosses got stat buffs — they were too easy for a five-player party.
   • Duty tab bug and the Poeta/Ishalgen Hero Quest teleport fixed.

   • Buying Kinah or Quna from unauthorized third parties breaks the Terms of Service.
   • Penalties go up to losing access to the game.

   • Claim from your Twitch drops inventory by Oct 30, 11:59 PM PDT / Oct 31, 07:59 CET.
   • Link Twitch to the account you actually play on: Steam → Steam, PURPLE → PURPLE. Don't link separately on the NC website.

    • Same faction only.
    • Early Access server characters can only move to another Early Access server, not to a launch server.

    Launch rewards for everyone — log in before December 1

    • Pre-registration and Steam wishlist rewards go to every player who creates an account and logs in during the window.
    • Deadline: before the December 1 maintenance (11:30 PM PT).
    • Rewards arrive automatically by in-game mail; the mail expires on December 8.
    • Contents: Pagati pet, a pet of your choice, 10 Resurrection Spiritstones, potions and scrolls in stacks of 50–100.

    Launch events — Guides for Glory contest, dungeon leaderboard and screenshot contests

    • Four community events: Daeva Makeover, Guides for Glory, the Transcendence dungeon leaderboard and Beauty of Atreia.
    • Guides for Glory (Oct 5 – Nov 2): guide contest, up to 10 winners get 4,000 Quna and a Discord title.
    • Transcendence leaderboard (until Nov 2): top 10 per server and class get 35,000 Enhance Stones and more.
