NCSOFT posted its first patch notes on the new "Updates" board of the game site (until now everything went to "Announcements"). The changes went live in the weekly maintenance: Oct 6 at 23:30 PDT, which is Oct 7 at 08:30 CEST, for 3.5 hours. Asia servers were down for 5.5 hours.
Founder's Pack on every character
What NCSOFT announced on Oct 3 (news) is now live:
- Skins, titles and other Founder's Pack items can be used on other characters and other servers on your account.
- There's a new free Founder's Pack shop. Every character on every server can take, for free, the items from its pack tier that it doesn't own yet. The shop stays open until NCSOFT announces it's closing.
- You won't get items you already own a second time. If duplicates end up in your inventory, NCSOFT plans to add a way to discard them.
- Skins you get twice through this shop don't count against the purchase limit for paid skins. A fix that blocks duplicates is planned for a later update.
- If buying the Founder's Pack fails, close the client and try again.
With server transfers starting Oct 14, that's good news: cosmetics no longer tie anyone to a single character.
Wing Morph cap
In Substance Morph (item conversion), the recipe that turns Sealed Wings into Enhance Stones is now capped at 20 Morphs per week per server — the counter is per server, not per character, like the other caps in 22 things the game doesn't tell you.
More Raw Leather
Monsters in Verteron and Altgard and in Chaotic Lower Reshanta drop Raw Leather (a crafting material) more often. NCSOFT didn't say by how much.
Resurrection Spiritstone for Kina
The Wind Breeze Merchants (Menu → Shop → Wind Breeze Merchants → Special) have a new item: Resurrection Spiritstone (Season 1), a resurrection stone, for 25,000 Kina each. Limit: 10 per week per server. It's on sale until the Dec 15 (PST) maintenance. The TAKEFLIGHTAION2 code also gives a few of these stones (codes).
Bug fixes
- The map showed the wrong maximum number of Map Pins. The limit is now 30.
- Asmodians: the weekly "Daeva of Glorious Deeds" mission in Challenge Season Missions couldn't be completed — fixed.
- "Movement Controls" appeared several times under Settings → Key Settings → General — fixed.
- Some emote commands didn't work in chat — fixed.
