Can you change class?
No. There's no class change ticket, no NPC and no menu that turns an existing character into a different class (VGC, Gamerblurb, both Oct 5). The game's item list doesn't contain any class change item either, and NC hasn't announced one for the global version (timesaver.gg).
If you want another class, you make a new character. Your level, gear and Daevanion progress stay with the old one. Before you commit, compare the classes in which class to play.
Can you change appearance?
Yes, with an Appearance Change Voucher (Bound). It reopens the full editor from character creation: face, hair, makeup and body (Gamesfuze, All Things How). It doesn't change class or faction.
- Level: from 10. NC added this rule in the September 18 hotfix.
- Price in the Cash Shop: 26,000 A2 Mileage, up to 2 per character (gaming.tools, Gamesfuze).
- Season Shop: 36,000 Oath Coin, 1 per server (gaming.tools, All Things How).
- Free ones so far: Early Access queue compensation (Sep 30), Twitch Drops (Oct 2–4, after 30 minutes of watching), and a 7-day voucher in the Ultimate Founder's Pack styling chest (all from NC notices).
Event vouchers can expire. The 7-day ones disappear after a week, so use them before then (NC, Reddit).
Appearance Change Voucher or Customization Voucher?
They're two different items, and people confuse them all the time:

NC gave every player a Customization Voucher on October 5 (gifts for all players). It won't change your face. Players who expected that from the Twitch Drops voucher were disappointed (Reddit, Sep 30).
Can you change gender?
No — as of October 9, 2026. Gender is set when you create the character. The Appearance Change Voucher doesn't let you switch it (Game8, updated Oct 8), and the game has no separate gender change item. One guide (All Things How) says otherwise, but we haven't found that confirmed anywhere else, and NC hasn't said a word about it. If you want a different gender, make a new character.
Are classes gender-locked?
No. Every class can be played as a male or a female character, and gender doesn't affect class, abilities or progression (Game8, u4n; timesaver.gg for the Korean and Taiwanese versions). It's purely cosmetic.
Can you change your name?
Yes, with a Name Change Voucher (Bound). It costs 22,000 A2 Mileage in the Cash Shop (gaming.tools, Gamesfuze).
How to use it, according to the item text in the game:
- Keep the voucher in your inventory (the Cube).
- Go to the character selection screen.
- Click Change Character Name in the bottom right.
After the change you can't rename again for 7 days.
Can you change server?
Yes, from October 14, 2026. According to NCSOFT, transfers are free at first and only between servers of the same faction. Characters on Early Access servers can only move to another Early Access server. Rules, preparation and how it worked in Korea: server transfer.
You don't need to move just to play dungeons together — they're cross-server.
Can you change faction?
No. Elyos stay Elyos, Asmodians stay Asmodians — even a server transfer keeps you in the same faction (NC, Sep 30). If your friends play the other side, you need a new character. The differences between the sides: Elyos or Asmodian.
Picked the wrong class? What to do
- Make a new character. You can delete the old one from level 1, and deletion takes 24 hours instead of 168 since the October 5 maintenance (NC).
- Play it for an hour before deciding. Clear the first area and see if the class feels right.
- Cosmetics aren't lost. Founder's Pack cosmetics work on every character on your account, on every server (Founder's Pack on all characters).
- Stay on the same server if you plan to keep both characters. Characters on one server share server storage, which makes passing items between them easier (Game8).
